The time has finally come: Today we released our new album „Fading Echoes“.

We are so happy about the release and are looking forward to celebrating this event with you.

We’ve already had a great year performing many of the new songs live and now all of them are officially released.

We want to thank everyone involved in the album, especially our former band members Silas and Grit who wrote many of the songs with us.

A big thank you to all of you for supporting us in the past, listening to our songs and attending our concerts.

Where We First Met blends alternative rock, pop punk, and emo, always trying to find new ways to convey their introspective lyrics in their catchy music. The quartet’s current lineup includes singer Michael Lewash, guitarist Younes Hülse, bassist Leonard Gibalowski, and drummer Marcel Leuschner.

The group formed in Bonn, Germany, in 2021. In search of an original band name, the members came across the spot of their first meet-up during a music video shoot and settled on “Where We First Met”. Inspired by acts such as blink-182, Brand New, Sum 41, and Taking Back Sunday, Where We First Met quickly made its mark on the local scene, performing intimate shows in and around Bonn. The band released their debut 7-song-EP “Life’s Out To Get You” in 2022, setting the stage for their sound. Recording for their first full-length album, “Fading Echoes”, began in late 2023. The album was released in February 2025.

Dreams and Riots haben sich der guten alten Punkrock-Zeit verschrieben – mit
energiegeladenen Mitsingparolen und bester drei Akkorde-Manier entstauben sie
den Sound der 90er und führen den Punkrock zu einem neuen Revival.
Ihre aktuelle Single „Anne“ handelt von der Auflehnung gegen erdrückende
Kleinbürgerlichkeit und reaktionäres Denken und ist gleichzeitig eine Hymne an
ein Leben in Freiheit und mit selbstbestimmter Identität.
Dreams and Riots entwickeln ihren puristischen Stil dabei konsequent weiter, bei
dem neben abgewetzten Bühnen und Schweißtropfen an der Decke das Gefühl
bleibt, dass die eigene Sause noch längst nicht vorbei ist.

The MOURNING POST

The MOURNING POST aus NRW holen uns mit ihrem zwischen Traum und Realität oszillierenden Emo-Punk-Pop ab. Zwischendurch schrauben sich die Rhythmen und Melodien in vertrackte, mathrockige Spiralen. Und dann sind da diese beiden Stimmen, die sich wie zwei Tänzer gegenseitig herausfordern und gleichzeitig unterstützen.
