Double the ska, double the power: two female-fronted bands in one night—be there!

The Rabids (Belgium) and Western Mécanique (France)
The Rabids

When The Rabids are in town, the party is going down. Whether it’s at a bar, club or festival, The Rabids will put on a show you won’t soon forget. Our sound is all about blending the best of upbeat ska, gritty punk rock, and the timeless warmth of reggae, topped off with catchy horn melodies. So, dive in, crank up the volume and join us for the ride.
The Rabids were initially founded as a punkrock band in the rural Kempen region of Belgium. After their first EP No Dinner, No Wine, they burst into the world of ska and even dabbled into some reggae. Most members of the band, both in the founding fathers and in later additions, find their origins in classical music after playing in various marching bands and brass bands in Belgium.

Western Mécanique

Our sound is a raw, high-energy mix — influenced by The Clash, The Specials, The Skints. We’re promoting our first album Gotta Go! A punky reggae party in English !
